
Winter is finally here! Heating bills are on the rise while temperatures are dropping. With the holidays on their way and money being spent like crazy. Its time to start thinking about how to save money on your heating bill. Here are 5 tips to help you save money this winter.
Cover all areas where heat might escape
If you want to save money this winter, be sure to take the time to cover areas where heat may escape. A lot of cold comes in from window areas. Cover your windows with plastic. I personally love the “5 tips for Better Meal Plan”
Replace furnace filter
Another great way to save money in winter is by keeping an eye on your furnace filter. Your furnace filter should be replaced at the beginning of the season. Be sure to check it frequently and replace as needed. If you have pets or a large family, the filter should be replaced more often.
